Due to a number of devastating fires affecting Cannock Chase AONB in May, the Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and Staffordshire County Council have issued the following instructions for visitors to Cannock Chase: 

Fire Safety Advice


Do not use barbeques 

Disposable or otherwise

Do not light camp fires 

Avoid unnecessary fire risks

Dispose of cigarettes responsibly  

Discarded cigarettes can cause fires

Think of Emergency Vehicles 

Do not park on verges or block barriers used by emergency vehicles

Please ensure you help keep Cannock Chase AONB beautiful


Take your litter home

Keep dogs under close control 

Respect other people 

Do not eat anything unless you are an experienced forager
