Fraser Scott

Fraser Scott
Fraser grew up in the Brierley Hill area of the Black Country and now lives in Coseley with his partner and their two children. He is a member of Bilston Writers Group and has recently begun to perform his poetry at various local live literature events.
Much of Fraser’s writing is influenced by his bipolar disorder, and his poem ‘I, Magpie’ featured in an issue of Asylum magazine, a journal dedicated to contemporary thought about psychiatry and the politics of mental health.
Aside from writing his interests include music, history and improving his ability at playing the guitar. He currently works as a learning support assistant in a local school for children with special needs.
Fraser was one of seven poets featured in New Voices, available from the Offa’s Press shop.
