Gracey Bee

Gracey Bee was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and is a performance poet, book club and creative writing workshop facilitator, and poetry event host. She works as a storyteller in schools, libraries and at literature festivals.

She has performed her poetry at ‘City Voices’, ‘Country Voices’, ‘Virtual Voices’, and ‘Island Fusion’ (Ironbridge Festival of the Imagination). She has been a slam semi-finalist at Wolverhampton Literature Festival, Oooh Beehive and Shrewsbury Festival of Literature. She has been published in Bedtime Stories (Tales for Children), Wolverhampton Libraries.

Her work varies from island culture to the motivational, often including her distinctive Jamaican dialect (‘patois’).

Gracey was one of seven poets featured in New Voices, available from the Offa’s Press shop.
