Saturday June 1 : ‘Hill Country’ Workshop

‘Hill Country’ poetry writing workshop (11am-2pm) at the Stiperstones, Minsterley, Shropshire, SY5 0NG.

Simon Fletcher will be leading a walk and writing session, on the theme of ‘hill country’ up to the Cranberry Rocks on the Long Mynd, ending at the Bog Visitor Centre café. www.bogcentre.co.uk. Expect to see skylarks, red grouse, ravens, heather, bilberries & more. The café has a great range of snacks & drinks but bring suitable clothing. Meet at the car park up the bank from the visitor centre. Tickets £12/ £10.

‘Tipton Tales’ – A guided walk around Tipton with Emma Purshouse and friends (including Kuli Kohli). Poets and performers will bring to life the facts and fables, truth and tall stories of Tipton.

The walk starts at The Fountain Inn, 51 Owen Street, Tipton, DY4 8HE at 11am, 1pm and 3pm and lasts approximately 1 hour.
