Saturday 19 & 26 March : Multistory walks
Marion Cockin and Emma Purshouse will be amongst performers taking part in a promenade performance in Wednesbury on Saturday 19th March and Saturday 26th March. Shows at 11am, 1pm.
They will be helping to bring to life the facts and fables, truth and tall stories to be found in the history of the High Street by way of poetry and song.
The 19 March 11am walk and the 26 March 1pm walk will both be BSL interpreted.
We will start at the John Wesley memorial on Church Hill, High Bullen, Wednesbury WS10 9DQ and take approximately one hour. Dress for the weather, and for walking!

Wednesday March 23 : ‘500 Years In 50 Voices’
The Black Country Society’s Brendan Clifford launches his new book with readers including Kuli Kohli who will share her ‘An Interpretation of Wolverhampton’. 7.30pm start. The Court House, Dudley DY1 1LP (corner New Street – Tower Street).
Friday February 25 : Emma Purshouse reading at ‘Poems about Migration’
Emma Purshouse will be reading with other poets at ‘Poems about Migration’, a Zoom event hosted by Paul Francis and Steve Pottinger that draws on work from two recent collections: Poetry and Settled Status for All, edited by Ambrose Musiyiwa, and You’re Welcome, edited by Paul Francis in aid of Shropshire Supports Refugees. 7.30-8.30pm.

Saturday January 22 : ‘Countryside Poetry’
‘Countryside Poetry’, including work from In the Sticks, with Simon Fletcher, Cherry Doyle plus local contributors. 2.30-3.30pm, Museum of Cannock Chase, Valley Road, Hednesford, Staffordshire, WS12 1TD.
Free event and all welcome. Refreshments will be available from the cafe. Ample parking and good disabled access.

Saturday January 29 : ‘Offsite9’
Kuli Kohli, Priyanka Joshi & Santosh K. Dary will be reading poems as part of the ‘Offsite9’ British Arts Show (part of WLF), 1.45-2.45pm, at Wolverhampton Central Library.

Saturday January 29 : Poets, Prattlers, and Pandemonialists
Emma Purshouse, Steve Pottinger and Dave Pitt (Poets, Prattlers, and Pandemonialists) will be hosting the Wolverhampton Literature Festival Poetry Slam at the Arena Theatre, Wulfruna Street, Wolverhampton. WV1 1SE 7.30-10pm.
Witness 15 poets battle it out in a live poetry competition to become slam champion for 2022. Come along and be bedazzled by bardic bravery, whoop for your favourite wordsmith. Who wins? The audience decides.

Emma Purshouse will be performing at the Gloucestershire Poetry Society’s regular online event, ‘Crafty Crows’, hosted by Josephine Lay. 7-9pm.
