‘Poetry Showcase’, Emma Purshouse will be performing in person at the Welshpool Poetry Festival alongside Jonathan Edwards. Hear the results of the Open Competition and enjoy two contrasting poets, each outstanding with their own unique delivery and writing style. One thing these poets share is a talent for honing in on what it is to be vulnerable and human, on the everyday miracles and madness of life in their particular special parts of the world.

‘International Voices’ with David Bingham from Ironbridge, Shropshire, and Vera Constantineau, the poet laureate of Greater Sudbury, from Copper Cliff, Ontario, Canada, 4pm BST.
Both poets are widely published and have a passion for Japanese forms of poetry.

‘Verbalise’ – Emma Purshouse will be the guest at this online spoken word event. Come and hear Emma’s poems, and maybe an extract from Dogged!
