Gracey Bee and Kenton Samuels will be performing at the Poetry with a Twist Mother’s Day Zoom Special. This show promises to deliver something a bit different from the norm. Also, surprises for some moms in the audience. Open mic spaces available to dedicate poems to ‘mother figures’ (moms, nans, a godmother etc). 7.30-9pm on Zoom.

At PetitGlou Wine Bar Cafe, The Market Hall, Claremont Street, Shrewsbury SY1 1HQ. The event starts at 7pm, with doors opening from 6.15pm for drinks, nibbles, and conviviality.

With David Bingham & Simon Fletcher on the theme of ‘built landscape’. We’ll be sharing ways to write poetry about canals, roads, pathways, industrial & domestic buildings and chapels. The workshop will include a short walk around the village.
