David Bingham is leading a haiku workshop in response to art work, as part of a course led by Sharon Ashton, at the Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery, 10am to 12.30pm, The Square, Shrewsbury, SY1 1LH.
This is part of a 3 session course and total fees are £30.

Thursday 12 October : Poetry Café Open Mic
Nick Pearson will be running the Poetry Café Open Mic at the Gratitude Cafe in Duke Street, Wellington, TF1 1BJ, 7.00-9.30pm.
Those interested can sign up for four minute slots to read their own work or ‘favourite’ poems on the night.

Wednesday 25 October : Celebrate Black History Month
Celebrate Black History Month, with Gracey Bee, discussing and learning characters, stories, cultural phrases, and hearing different view points of this history, re-told in a way that will resonate in the hearts long after the show.
