Wednesday 12 July : ‘Whose Round Is It Anyway?

Poets, Prattlers, and Pandemonialists are bringing their new show ‘Whose Round Is It Anyway?’ to Underground at the Clubhouse, 3 Water Street, Buxton SK17 6XN as part of the Buxton Fringe, 4-4.50pm.

This show won an award for Best Spoken Word Show at Morecambe Fringe in the summer of 2022, the very first time it was performed.

Tickets £8.

Friday 14 July : Emma Purshouse at Bilston Library

Emma Purshouse will be appearing at Bilston Library, Mount Pleasant, Bilston WV14 7LU in an event organised by Poetry on Loan and Wolverhampton Libraries for Black Country Day.

If you’d like a unique Black Country poem written just for you right there and then, pop in between 11.00am and 1.30pm.

Saturday 15 July : ‘Country Voices’

‘Country Voices’ with Teresa Heeks, John Woodall & Marion Cockin, at the ‘Water Rat’, Buildwas Road, Ironbridge, TF8 7BJ, 2.30-4pm. A variety of voices in a charming venue.

Michael W. Thomas is reading at Poetry Alight 47 at the Duke of York, Greenhill, Lichfield WS13 at 7.30pm.

‘Virtual Voices’ with Jane Salmons, Gracey Bee, Roger Noons & Ros Woolner who’ll be reading from her first full collection Earth Walker, 5-6.30pm. This is an enjoyable live poetry event on Zoom. Those joining are encouraged to make a contribution via the website.
