Saturday 16 September : Island Fusion

Gracey Bee and Kenton Samuels will be performing Island Fusion, an island-hopping mix of poetry inspired by the Caribbean, Britain and Japan, at Wednesbury Museum & Art Gallery, Holyhead Rd, Wednesbury WS10 7DF at 12 noon.

Sunday 17 September : The Ironbridge Poetry Slam

The Ironbridge Poetry Slam, organised by Poets, Prattlers & Pandemonialists, will be at The Engine Shed, Enginuity, TF8 7DX at 2.30pm.

Hear fifteen poets perform their work and compete against each other. Only one can win the prize of a paid gig in Ironbridge later this year. Who will it be? What poems will they share with us? How will the judges vote? And will you think the judges made the right decision?

Saturday 23 September : Virtual Voices

Virtual Voices with Cherry Doyle, reading from her new collection, The Taste of Rain, Chris Kinsey, plus Cherry’s chums from the Manchester Poetry School: Gareth Culshaw, Katherine ‘Katie’ Collins and Thirza Clout. 5.00-6.30pm on Zoom.

Saturday 23 September : ‘Get a Word in Edgeways’

Kuli Kohli and the Punjabi Women’s Writing Group will be performing poetry with other poets as part of the ‘Get a Word in Edgeways’ event at Newhampton Arts centre, Wolverhampton WV1 4AN.

The event will open at 2pm and finish around 7pm, the poetry will start at 3pm. Free entry.

Tuesday 3 October : The Poetry Readers

The Poetry Readers meet at the Bolthole Cafe, The Wharfage, Ironbridge, TF8 7AW, 2-4pm.

Wednesday 4 October : Cherry Doyle and Simon Fletcher readings

Cherry Doyle and Simon Fletcher will be reading from their recent Offa’s Press publications at Oswestry Library, Albert Street, Oswestry, SY11 1JN, 2.30-3.30.

Free event. All welcome to this celebration of the countryside and wildlife.

Thursday 5 October : Poetry On Demand

Kenton Samuels will be granting poetry requests 11am-1pm with Poetry On Demand at Tettenhall Library, 1-3 Upper St, Tettenhall, Wolverhampton WV6 8QF.
