Saturday April 6 : A ‘Poetry Walk’
A ‘Poetry Walk’ focussed on ‘celebrating spring flowers’ with Simon Fletcher on Llynclys Common, near Oswestry, 10.30am-1pm. Meet at Turner’s Lane car park, Dolgoch (on the A495). The walk will involve stopping points along the ‘Violet Trail’ for prompts and writing time. Bring your own refreshments and suitable clothing.

‘Away with the Birds’ a celebration of birds and nature for Earth Day, Oswestry Library, Arthur St, Oswestry SY11 1JN, 2-3pm.
Simon Fletcher and Kuli Kohli, the anthology editors, will be reading plus local contributors Roger Paul & Jan Westwood. Come along and enjoy an hour of delightful and thoughtful poetry.

Saturday March 2 : ‘The Power of Poetry’
Gracey Bee and Arun will be hosting ‘The Power of Poetry’ as part of LEAP Festival at the Arena Theatre, Wulfruna St., Wolverhampton WV1 1SE, 1-2pm. Integrating visual effects (images, film etc), sound and other theatrical elements, 5 poets will create their own unique sets to immerse audience members into their poetry by bringing something different and unique to the stage.
