Saturday March 2 : ‘The Power of Poetry’

Gracey Bee and Arun will be hosting ‘The Power of Poetry’ as part of LEAP Festival at the Arena Theatre, Wulfruna St., Wolverhampton WV1 1SE, 1-2pm. Integrating visual effects (images, film etc), sound and other theatrical elements, 5 poets will create their own unique sets to immerse audience members into their poetry by bringing something different and unique to the stage.

Poetry Readers at the Bolthole Cafe, the Wharfage, Ironbridge, TF8 7AW 2-4pm.

The theme is ‘Shadows’.

International Women’s Week celebration with Jane Seabourne, Kuli Kohli & Gracey Bee at Central Library, Snow Hill, Wolverhampton, WV1 3AX, 11am-12 noon.

Tuesday March 12 : ‘City Voices’

‘City Voices’ with Kenton Samuels, Mel Wardle Woodend, Keith Rogers, Jane Salmons and Simon Fletcher at the Lych Gate, 44, Queen Square, Wolverhampton, WV1 1TX, 7.30-9pm.

Saturday March 16 : Writing Under Fire anthology

Owing to unforeseen circumstances this event will now take place on Saturday 18 May.

Writers from Ukraine and the Black Country (including Kuli Kohli) will be performing from the Writing Under Fire anthology.

The book launch will take place from 7.30 to 9pm in the Ukrainian Community Centre, 154 Holland Park Avenue, London, W11 4UH. This is the headquarters of the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain. There will be free Hoblotsi (Ukrainian stuffed cabbage), coffee/tea and wine and we will also have traditional Ukrainian music.
