Nick Pearson is hosting an Open Mic Event at the Gratitude Cafe, Duke Street, Wellington, TF1 1BJ. 7pm for a 7.30pm start. 4-minute slots available – sign up on the night. Refreshments available. Pay-as-you-feel donations at the end of the night. All poets welcome.

The Poetry Readers’ Group meets at the White Hart, 10, Wharfage, Ironbridge, Telford, TF8 7AW, 2-4 pm, and the theme will be ‘Memory’.

Sunday 6 April : ‘Trees’ workshop

‘Trees’ workshop with Simon Fletcher & Kuli Kohli in the Wyre Forest, Shropshire. Meet at the car park at Earnwood Copse on the Button Oak Road (B4194) 2 miles northwest of Bewdley. 11am – 2pm. Bring lunch & refreshments as we’ll stop for a writing session/ picnic.
