Saturday 1 February : Poetry workshop on ‘Trees in the City’

Kuli Kohli and Simon Fletcher will be running a poetry workshop on ‘Trees in the City’, 11am-1pm, starting and ending at the Art Gallery, Lichfield St, Wolverhampton WV1 1DU, in the ‘Creation’ room. Poems created at this workshop may be considered for the ‘Seeing the Trees’ an-thology Simon and Kuli are editing for Offa’s Press.

Tuesday 4 February : The Poetry Readers’ Group

The Poetry Readers’ Group meets at the White Hart, 10, Wharfage, Ironbridge, Telford, TF8 7AW, 2-4 pm, and the theme will be the galaxy, stars, sun and moon etc.

Tuesday 11 February : ‘It’s Honorary, Bab’

‘It’s Honorary, Bab’ Emma Purshouse will be giving a talk 2-3.30pm at the Goodyear Pavilion, Stafford Road, Wolverhampton, WV10 6AJ about being the first Poet Laureate for the City of Wolverhampton. She will be explaining to the members of ‘Wolverhampton Friendship Centre 050’ what the work of the Poet Laureate entails and sharing examples of the creative work that she completed during her tenure.
