Friday October 11 : ‘Green Libraries Week’

‘Green Libraries Week’ will be celebrated with some ‘Green Poetry’ with Kuli Kohli, Ros Woolner, Marion Cockin & Simon Fletcher at Penn Library, Wolverhampton, 11am-12 noon.

Come along and enjoy some ‘green’ poetry about nature, in gardens and the countryside. Free event and all welcome.

‘Healing Nature’ Simon will be runnning a poetry writing workshop on ‘how nature heals us and how we can heal nature’. Workshoppers will be encouraged to share and write about their experiences of the benefits of nature and how we might all do more to benefit nature.

The workshop will be at the Fire Station, Smithfield Road, TF13 6BD, Much Wenlock, Shropshire, TF13 6BD. 10am-12noon & 2-4pm.

‘Tea, Herbs, and Spices’ – unlock your creativity with aromatic inspiration.

Join Kuli Kohli (current Poet Laureate for the City of Wolverhampton, and leader of the city’s Punjabi Women’s Writers Group) for a supportive afternoon of poetry writing in Caldmore Community Garden, 12 Carless St, Walsall, WS1 3RH, 2-4.30pm.

Explore the world of tea, dive into the healing properties of herbs, infuse your poetry with the warmth of cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves. Share your creations over a steaming cup of masala chai. Open to all – new writers, keen writers, established writers, spice lovers, herb aficionados, and listeners all welcome.
