Friday October 19 : Punjabi Women’s Stories & Poetry for Diwali!

Kuli Kohli will be taking part in Punjabi Women’s Stories & Poetry for Diwali! A celebration of Punjabi family life & history through poetry and stories presented by members of the Punjabi Women’s Writers’ group, featuring Kuli Kohli.

This event will be suitable for all the family and free.

Saturday October 20 : ‘Country Voices’

‘Country Voices’ with Catherine Redfern, Nick Pearson  and Emma Purshouse at the Meadow Inn, Buildwas Road, Ironbridge, TF8 7BJ.

Nellie Cole will be reading from Bella at the ‘Book to the Future’ festival at the University of Birmingham, along with Luke Kennard and others.

Saturday September 1 : Walking & Poetry workshop at the Stiperstones

Walking & Poetry workshop (11am-2pm) at the Stiperstones, Minsterley, Shropshire, SY5 0NG.

Simon will be leading a walk and writing session, on the theme of nature, around the Cranberry Rocks on the stunning Long Mynd, ending at the Bog Visitor Centre café. www.bogcentre.co.uk. The café has good disabled access, a great range of snacks & drinks but bring suitable clothing.

Meet at the car park up the bank from the visitor centre. Tickets £12/ £10.

September 8, 12 & 18 : Poetry writing workshops in Newcastle Under Lyme

Bert Flitcroft will be leading three ekphrastic poetry writing workshops in Newcastle Under Lyme, at the Trent Art gallery, 19 Brunswick Street, Newcastle under Lyme, ST5 1HF.

September 8th, 12th & 18th, 10.30-12.30.

Tickets are £5 per session.

Writers will be looking at work from an exhibition of The Royal Society of Artists entitled ‘A Road Less Travelled’.
